To All Interested Bidders:
Bidders are invited to submit a formal Proposal to for the installation of two automatic slide security gate systems for the City of Zion Public Works Facilities with the bid specifications General Conditions and Specifications.
One original copy of the Proposal shall be submitted.
If any questions arise from the RFP, the bidder may submit to Ray Roberts Director of Public Works & Engineering via email at raylr@zion.il.us Any interpretation documents will be made by addendum to the RFP. All questions should be emailed no later than 3:30 p.m., Friday April 7, 2023. All questions that arise that require an addendum will be posted on the City of Zion website (cityofzion.com).
Sealed Proposals will be received by the City Clerk, City Hall, 2828 Sheridan Road, Illinois, until 10:00 a.m. April 11, 2023 and at that time said bids will be publicly opened and read. All Proposals shall be clearly marked with “SECURITY SLIDE GATE OPERATOR SYSTEM CITY OF ZION PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY RFP.”

Proposals will be opened at the time and date, and location indicated above. The Proposals shall remain firm for not less than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Proposal. Bidders guarantee that all goods and services meet the requirements of the solicitation during the contract period.
The City of Zion reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or technicalities in bidding, to re-advertise for bids, or to accept the proposal which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City.
