Notice to Bidders for 2017 Street Program

SEALED proposals will be received by the City of Zion at the City Clerk’s office until 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for Zion’s 2017 Street Program for improvements of various streets, curb & gutter and sidewalks throughout the City. Plans and proposal forms are available from the office of Christopher B. Burke, Ltd., 9575 W. Higgins Road, Suite 600, Rosemont, IL 60018 for the sum of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) – Non-refundable payable to CBBEL or call Lee Fell, Senior Project Manager at 847-823-0500 or email at lfell@cbbel.com.

Proposals shall be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the company submitting the proposal and with the words “2017 STREET PROGRAM, TO BE OPENED April 11, 2017.” All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals.

The City of Zion reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to make an award on the proposal, which in its opinion is most advantageous to the City.

Each contractor, by submitting a proposal, signifies his intentions and good faith to enter into a contract with the City of Zion, Illinois, should he be awarded the contract.
