REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER FOR NEW FIRE STATION #2
To All Interested Bidders:
Bidders are invited to submit a formal Proposal to provide Construction Management (CM) for the construction of a new fire station in Zion with the General Conditions and Specifications outlined in the bid specifications.
Ten copies of the written Proposal and Fee shall be submitted.
If any questions arise from the RFP, the bidder may submit them to David Knabel City Administrator via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any interpretation documents will be made by addendum to the RFP. All questions should be emailed no later than 4:00 p.m., February 9, 2024. All questions that arise that require an addendum will be posted on the City of Zion website (cityofzion.com).
Sealed Proposals and Fee will be received by the City Clerk, City Hall, 2828 Sheridan Road, Illinois, until 10:00 a.m. February 16, 2024 and at that time said bids will be publicly opened and read. Both written Proposals and Fee shall be clearly marked in separate sealed envelopes with “RFP FOR FIRE STATION 2 CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – NARRATIVE” AND “RFP FOR FIRE STATION 2 CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – FEE.”

All sealed Proposals must be delivered to the following address:

Proposals will be opened at the time and date, and location indicated above. The Proposals shall remain firm for not less than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Proposal. Bidders guarantee that all goods and services meet the requirements of the solicitation during the contract period.
The City of Zion reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or technicalities in bidding, to re-advertise for bids, or to accept the proposal which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City.
