NOTICE TO BIDDERS
2021 HMA SURFACE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
SEALED proposals will be received by the City of Zion at the City Clerk’s office until 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 14, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for Zion’s 2021 HMA Surface Removal and Replacement Program for various streets throughout the City. Plans and proposal forms are available in the office of the Zion City Clerk, City of Zion, 2828 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099. Call 847-746-4012 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or can be found on the City of Zion website at www.cityofzion.com. Copy of IDOT Certification of Eligibility is required.
Proposals shall be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the company submitting the proposal and with the words “2021 HMA SURFACE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM”, TO BE OPENED May 14, 2021.” All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals.

The City of Zion reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any and all proposals and to make an award on the proposal, which in its opinion is most advantageous to the City.
Each contractor, by submitting a proposal, signifies his intentions and good faith to enter into a contract with the City of Zion, Illinois, should he be awarded the contract.
