ISO Rating
The Zion Fire Rescue Department is independantly evaluated
and rated by the Insurance Services Organization (ISO). The
purpose of this evaluation is to determine the overall capabilities
of the Fire Department and it's impact on fire insurance
rates for the property owners in the City of Zion. A class
1 rating is the best and a class 10 rating is the worst.
The Zion Fire Rescue Department is currently rated a 4. We
are working toward improving our fire rating, for the benefit
of our citizens and the business community of the City of
Zion.
