Pre Development Conference

The City of Zion has developed a unique pre-development concept, which we call "Pre Development Conference." By requesting a "Pre Development Conference," a developer, site selector or entrepreneur can meet simultaneously with all the Zion officials involved in the development and building process. We do this to show our eagerness to forge partnerships with new businesses in town, to make the process easy, and most importantly, to cut your costs. We hope that by using Zion's "Pre Development Conference," you will be able to break ground on your project months sooner than you expected.

City departments represented at a typical "Pre Development Conference" include: Engineering & Infrastructure, Building, Zoning and Planning, Economic Development, Fire Department, as well as our legal staff. If requested we can also invite the Mayor or specific city commissioner.
