As part of the position requirements Bob has achieved certification
as a Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector through
the International Code Council, as a part of the certification requirements
Bob attends various training sessions throughout the year to not only
maintain the certification but also to stay informed of the latest innovations
in the inspection process. Bobs previous career in the Nuclear Industry
as a Construction Field Engineer and Certified Inspector has been a good
base of understanding for his current position. Bobs family history in Zion
goes back to the original founding of Zion with his Great Grandfather being
one of the original treasurers for the city and then his grandfather
being City Attorney and Judge. Bob feels it is a great honor to continue
providing a service to the city as his forefathers did.
