Elliot Eldridge's Bio

Elliot L. Eldridge received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago in addition to being trained in the Construction Technology Program at Purdue University.

He started his professional career in architecture with firms like Barnett & Smith and the internationally renowned Murphy/Jahn.  After working eight years in architectural design, Elliot returned to his passion of working in the construction technology field and entered in municipal government as a Plan Reviewer/Building Inspector for the Village of Hanover Park.

After gaining seven years of valuable plan reviewing, code enforcement, and building inspection experience, Elliot joined the Village of Oswego to serve as the Director of the Building & Zoning Department.

In addition, Elliot has gained further municipal supervisory experience by serving as the Deputy Building Commissioner at the Village of Burr Ridge.

While serving in here, Elliot plans to provide superior and responsive governmental service to the citizens of Zion by enforcement of City ordinances, ensuring the protection of public health, safety, and welfare.

Elliot resides in DuPage County with his family, but plans to relocate to the Lake County area soon.
