Congratulations to Culver’s of Zion for being the Best Culver’s in America!!!

Culver’s of Zion has been competing with hundreds of other Culver’s stores nationwide for the coveted title of Best Culvers in America based upon the largest sales increase from 2009 to 2010.  The winner of the competition would be announced not by phone or email or fax but having Craig Culver, the founder of the Culver’s franchise, visit the winning store with a $12,000 first prize check in hand.  Welcome to Zion Mr. Culver!!

When Jesse Jarrett of Culvers was asked how it feels to be the best Culvers in America, he said, “ I feel quite honored to be where we’re at today. We owe it all to the community, I owe it to my staff.  We’ve been doing everything we can for marketing to bring people in but it’s my staff that takes care of them when they come in here day after day.”  When asked how he was going to use the $12,000.00 he said, “We’re going it give back to the people who deserve it the most and that’s the staff.”

Tyler Kincaid, a crewmember at Culvers said that it feels great that the owners are going to give the money to the staff.  “We all really worked hard and tried to put a smile on our faces each time a guest comes through the door…it feels really good to get a reward back.”  He said that with his share he was going to save it and probably invest it in a new truck.

Steve Jarrett was equally excited as well.  “It was a lot of fun during the competition.”, he said.  “We had all the help from the community, our family and friends. It’s the only reason we could have won.”  Steve said that it was really nice that the management was going to give it back to the crew and with his share, he, like Tyler, was going to put it towards his car.
