The 2007 Bee-Prentice Challenge has completed Workshop Three and the candidates are showing they are in this to win. Local businesses opened their doors to give these ZBTHS juniors the opportunity to have a ‘hands on’ experience last Friday by performing data entry, pet grooming, banking and even a few bike repairs and learning behind the scenes secrets of our local bakery and coffee shops!
The Bee-prentice Challenge offers real life experience to students who will soon be entering our local job market. The winner of the 2007 competition will win a $5000 college scholarship and a new Motorola Bluetooth phone set up. This opportunity to partner with ZBTHS, the Zion business community and the city’s economic development office would not be possible without the business owners mentioned in the photos and our other corporate supporters. Please show your appreciation for the efforts of these incredible students as well as our local businesses when you are looking for goods and services. They are all why Zion is a great place to Bee!
